Description
Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Weekend shifts as needed
• Work with adult patient population
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (N), BLS, CNMT, National Certification
• Preferred certifications include ACLS, ARRT R, NCT, NMTCB, PET
• Must have experience with various nuclear medicine procedures including Nuclear Cardiology, HIDA Scan, MUGA Scan, PET Scan, Bone Scans, and Cardiac Stress Tests
• Equipment experience preferred with GE, Hitachi, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
• Responsibilities include starting and maintaining IVs, drawing venous blood, and proper storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• Must follow isolation precautions and work with MPI Cardio SPECT imaging
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and transportation
• Schedules cannot be adjusted once contract is confirmed
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Charting system experience preferred

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
