Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 13-week assignment with no floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratios: 3 patients during days, 1 patient on weekends
• Handle approximately 8 visits per day in 3-room department
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Any scrub color acceptable
• First time travelers accepted
• 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT N, CNMT or NMTCB, and BLS
• Skills required: GE and Siemens equipment, gastric emptying, HIDA scan, MUGA scan, PET scan, 3 phase, whole body, perfusion, ventilation/perfusion, bone scans, exercise/rest studies, pharmacological stress, nuclear cardiology
• Must be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs
• Responsible for storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Pennsylvania fingerprints required and may require travel
• Pass/Fail exam required with only 3 attempts allowed
• Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
