Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call rotation
• On-call responsibilities required including weekend rotation coverage
• Float within scope to OR, Ortho, Fluoro, Inpatient, Outpatient and ER coverage
• Perform radiographic procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology
• Apply ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and/or pediatric radiology
• Work with high degree of technical competency with ability to act with initiative and minimum supervision
• 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, CPR
• Fluoroscopy and OR experience required
• Must provide own radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Work with special equipment including Phillips and Toshiba systems
• Treat patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Scrub color requirements: teal top and black bottom
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Epic charting system preferred, Cerner experience also valued
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required June through November
