Opportunity:
MRI Tech - MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8s)
• 8-week travel assignment with target start date of February 23, 2026
• May occasionally be asked to stay late to accommodate inpatient scans
• Weekend work is not required
• Perform high-quality MRI scans for both inpatients and outpatients
• Work with advanced MRI technology in specialty-focused orthopedic environment
• Average daily census of 7 patients with 7 visits per day
• Work in single MRI room with 1:2 staffing ratio
• Scan patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical staff
• Use EPIC documentation system and Omnicell unit systems
• Required certifications: NYS Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT (MR), BLS, IV Certification
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Experience with cardiac exams preferred as most scans are cardiac imaging
• Required to wear charcoal gray scrubs
• Must be comfortable with preparation/administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
