Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend as needed
• Patient ratios: 5 patients during days/weekends, 6 patients during nights
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Float to all medical-surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation unit
• Care for patients with CHF exacerbations, respiratory illness, arrhythmias, general surgery, orthopedic conditions, COPD, and sepsis
• Manage post-cardiac catheterization patients, telemetry monitoring, IV insulin protocols, and various medical equipment
• Work with specialized equipment including Artisight virtual nurses and virtual sitters
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility environment
• 8-hour orientation with pre-start modules taking 5-6 hours to complete
• No license hits accepted
• Charge experience preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
