Opportunity:
MRI Tech - MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 shifts)
• 8-week travel assignment with no rotating shifts
• May be asked to stay late occasionally to accommodate inpatient scans
• Weekends not required
• Perform high-quality MRI scans for both inpatients and outpatients
• Work with advanced MRI technology in specialty orthopedic environment
• Average daily census of 7 patients with 7 visits per day
• Staffing ratio of 1:2 during day shifts
• Work with all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Must have experience with cardiac exams as most scans are cardiac imaging
• Required to start peripheral IVs and prepare/administer contrast media
• Required licenses and certifications: NYS Radiologic Technologist License, ARRT (MR), BLS, IV Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required, first-time travelers not accepted
• EPIC documentation system experience preferred
• Must wear charcoal gray scrubs
• Work with Omnicell system and PACS equipment

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
