Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 84 hours biweekly with 72 hour guarantee
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med Surg and PCU units
• Position will support primarily Med Surg
• Day shift patient ratio: 5 patients, Night shift patient ratio: 6 patients
• Weekend coverage varies per contract
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience strongly preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Must have license in-hand before start date
• Complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• 50-mile local radius policy applies
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle various diagnoses including MS/PCU overflow patients
• Manage complex medical equipment and procedures including telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, wound care, and respiratory support
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Complete 2-3 hours of modules during first 16 hours of orientation
