Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts, or 48 hours for four 12-hour shifts
• Must be comfortable with MS/PCU float ratios of 1:5
• Patient ratios of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Floating is 100% required within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Weekend coverage required with self-scheduling
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Must have Indiana state license in hand prior to start date
• Scrub color: Red top, Black pants
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Work with adult and geriatric patients on 18-bed unit with daily census of 9
• Special requirements include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, peripheral line care, and oxygen administration
• Skills needed: telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, cardiac procedures, and various life support equipment
• Two supervisor references required
