Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required with travel experience mandatory
• Patient ratio of 1:5 days and nights, 1:6 on weekends in a 32-bed unit
• Work every other weekend with 6 weekend shifts per contract
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• Float to like units within facility as needed
• Call is rare with 2-hour response time required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Handle overflow IMCU patients with arrhythmia management, cardioversion, cardiac conditions
• Manage patients with CHF, chest pain, renal, pulmonary conditions, PE, DVT
• Care for post-cardiac catheterization patients and surgical patients
• Experience required with cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-PCI care
• Must have knowledge of cardiac medications including amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine
• Work with Epic charting system (preferred), Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• Full compliance required to start on time
