RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work as hospital float pool staff expected to float throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 2 years of nursing experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills include: Management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care/management, starting and maintaining IVs, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, suctioning, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Holiday work required: If one or two major holidays fall during assignment, work both; if three holidays fall during assignment, work two of them
• Must have Georgia or Compact license in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Full compliance required to start on time with 48-hour deadline for core items and lab completion after contract signing
