Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week with contract lengths of 13-20 weeks available
• Call requirements include weekday call from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM twice a week for 2 weeks per month
• Weekend call from Friday 4:00 PM to Monday 7:30 AM once per month
• Every third weekend requirement
• No call scheduled the week after weekend call
• 30-minute callback time for STEMIs, IR callback time varies by procedure type
• Must have minimum 2 years experience with IR experience required (90% of cases are IR)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS
• Must be able to scrub, circulate, and perform telemetry
• Assist providers with diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Work with adults and geriatrics patient population
• Handle urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures
• Work as part of three-member call team including one RN
• No floating requirements
• Scrubs are provided
• 40-80 hours orientation period
• Start directly on unit on Mondays until Dimensions training is completed
• Must complete non-billable modules (4-5 hours for non-acute roles)
• Cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week

Facility:

This medical center operates a combination interventional radiology and cardiology laboratory that performs a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, and specialized devices for various interventional procedures. The department maintains a high-volume practice with approximately 90% interventional radiology cases and provides comprehensive cardiac and vascular services to the community.
