Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call responsibility includes approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Scrub experience required in both Cath Lab and Angio procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI (Oregon state license)
• Must be willing to float within the site and across the health system as requested
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform complex cardiac interventions as first assistant to operator
• Utilize advanced equipment including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons, CTO equipment
• Assist with insertion of impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, Manifold procedures
• Handle balloon/stent prep and deployment, pericardiocentesis procedures
• Maintain sterile field and sterile technique throughout procedures
• Complete assigned education within one week of assignment
• Epic charting system experience required
• No requested time off allowed in first 2 weeks with maximum 7 days total RTO
• Mandatory cancellation possible with 1.5 hours notice, one shift per two-week pay period

Facility:

This acute care teaching hospital operates as a Level I Trauma center with 554 staffed beds and maintains Magnet status. The facility features a brand new cath lab building with 7 procedure rooms equipped with state-of-the-art Philips Azurion systems and western-facing windows. The department includes dedicated private call rooms with showers for staff use and has dedicated EVS/turnover staff available 7 days per week including overnight coverage. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and provides free parking in unrestricted spaces.
