Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts
• Weekend coverage and on-call requirements will be discussed during interview
• Float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or Red Cross), NBSTSA/NCCT preferred
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Complete 4-15 hours of pre-start modules (4 hours billable, additional time non-billable)
• Skills include CVOR procedures: aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty/stenting, CABG, TAVR, VAD, and other cardiovascular surgeries
• Must follow aseptic technique, laser safety, radiation safety, and universal protocol procedures
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• First-time travelers accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront with initial application
