Job Details:

• Position in ED Holding/CICU specifically caring for inpatient/CICU level holds in Emergency Department
• 2 years of experience required with strong PCU background within the last year
• ED experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted with EPIC experience and 2 years experience
• Every other weekend requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG test on arrival
• Must be comfortable managing and titrating cardiac drips including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labetalol, Dopamine, and Dobutamine
• Care for patients with diagnoses including chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia, and post-catheterization with stent procedures
• Handle medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic overflow patients
• Perform cardioversions and care for ICD/pacer insertion patients
• Work with specialized equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, Alaris pumps, and Phillips monitoring systems
• Patient ratio experience of 4:1 required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Valid New Hampshire state license required
• Drug screen must be obtained within 14 days of start date
