Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Contracted to ED unit, specifically to care for inpatient/CICU Level holds in ED
• 2 years of experience required with strong PCU background within the last year
• ED experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers accepted with EPIC experience and 2 years experience
• Every other weekend requirement
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, EKG TEST on arrival
• Patient ratio experience of 4:1
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Manage and titrate drips including Lasix, Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Integrillin, Labatolol, Dopamine, Dobutamine
• Care for patients with chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia
• Handle medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, orthopedic overflow patients
• Manage post-catheterization with stent patients, ICD/Pacer insertions, cardioversions
• Work with specialized equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitoring System
• Valid NH state license required
• Drug screen must be obtained within 14 days of start date
• References required, may be able to start with second pending
