Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 07:00-17:30/19:00 (varies)
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call responsibilities required - typically 1 weekend shift in a 4-week schedule and 7-9 call shifts per month (includes weekend call)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS, Florida license
• Must wear red scrubs
• EKG skills required
• Must have experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, rotablader
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must pass EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• Handle patient diagnoses including chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, pulmonary hypertension
• Perform procedures including L/R Heart Cath, CTO, Complex PCI, Peripheral & Complex Peripheral, Carotid Stent
• Work with Phillips imaging equipment and Phillips Xper
• Must live at least 100 miles from facility due to radius rule
• Guaranteed hours apply after first call off per pay period

This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates 599 staffed beds and features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with 3 rooms. The facility specializes in advanced cardiac procedures and interventional cardiology services, providing care for adult and geriatric patients. The cath lab is equipped with state-of-the-art Phillips imaging equipment and maintains high standards for cardiac care and interventional procedures.
