Description
Opportunity:
RN - CCU
Job Details:
• Options for 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 ICU, 1:4-5 PCU, 1:5-6 MS/MS Tele
• Epic charting system required, also use Pyxis and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Primary floating to ICU units but may float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU units within hospital
• Every other weekend schedule (average 6 weekends in 13-week contract)
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday work required based on assignment period schedule
• No call requirements
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must handle all potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Skills required include ventilator management, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, and various ICU procedures

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
