Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 1:5 with 16 beds and average daily census of 16
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Epic charting system experience required, plus Pyxis and SBAR
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1-2 major holidays if they fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed with Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for patients with post MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease
• Perform peritoneal dialysis procedures
• Work with telemetry, EKG, and Doppler equipment
• Skills include cardiac telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV protocols, central line care, chest tubes, wound care, and various other cardiac and medical procedures
• Full compliance required to start on time with clinical screening process
• Local candidates accepted at same rate
