Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 2:1 patient ratio for all shifts (days, nights, weekends)
• Every other weekend required with 6 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
• Float to Med/Surg, Med/Surg/Tele, and IMC units as needed
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• 72 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including multisystem organ failure, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, sepsis, CVA/seizures, STEMI/NSTEMI, and DKA
• Work with specialized equipment including IABP, CRRT, targeted temperature management, Swan Ganz, and temporary pacemakers
• Skills required include arterial line management, ventilator management, cardiac drip titration, blood product administration, and central line care
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
• No requested time off permitted during first two weeks of assignment
