Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule - may be scheduled to work 1 day, 2 days, or all 3 days of the weekend
• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department when necessary
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Patient ratios: Days 1:5-6, Nights 1:4-7, could be up to 1:8 depending on patient volume and holidays
• Treat patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department with daily census of 250 patients
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: Michigan state license, ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH
• ENPC certification preferred
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred
• Triage experience preferred
• First time travelers accepted
• Complete 36 hours of orientation including non-billable modules (5 hours)
• 5-day maximum RTO policy - all time off requests must be submitted at time of submission
• No RTO allowed from 3/27-4/12
• All certifications must be active by start date - no pending certifications accepted
