Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work mid shifts from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM with 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM rotation support as applicable
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3 in emergency department setting
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as needed
• Block scheduling accommodations available
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle various emergency conditions including chest pain, lacerations, trauma, stroke, psychiatric evaluations, abdominal emergencies, pediatric fever/URI/ear infections, orthopedic injuries, and respiratory emergencies
• Perform special procedures including central lines and arterial lines
• Work with Phillips monitors and Stryker beds
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, ISTAT, ENPC
• Meditech experience preferred
• Must have active license in hand with submittal

Facility:

This regional healthcare facility operates a Level II Trauma Center and is both STEMI and Stroke certified. The emergency department features 22 rooms with 19 beds and handles approximately 74 patients daily. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services to ensure optimal patient care delivery.
