Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work mid shift from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM with rotation support for 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts as applicable
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3 with 4 patients maximum on days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend requirement
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, ISTAT, ENPC
• Oklahoma nursing license must be in hand with submittal
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Open to accommodating block schedules
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle general emergency department cases including chest pain, lacerations, trauma, stroke, psychiatric evaluations, abdominal emergencies, pediatric fever/URI/ear infections, orthopedic injuries, and respiratory emergencies
• Perform specialized procedures including central lines and arterial lines
• Work with Phillips monitors and Stryker beds
• Meditech charting system experience preferred
• Work in 22-room, 19-bed emergency department with daily census of 74
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
