Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12's or 40 hours for 8/10's
• On-call requirement for evenings and weekends
• Minimum 18 months RN experience required, 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block schedule not available
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Wear ceil blue scrubs
• Use EPIC charting system
• Complete time-sensitive modules upon confirmation (average 6-15 hours)
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Experience with left and right heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line monitoring
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront with initial application
• Strict no-call policy for facility inquiries
