Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 12-week assignment duration
• Care for adult patients with 5:1 patient ratio on days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• 30 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Must pass basic dysrhythmia test with 2 attempts allowed
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Arkansas State or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS
• Must be comfortable with telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, post-cardiac procedures, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, wound care, and various cardiac drips
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and arterial blood gas interpretation preferred
• Charting system experience with Meditech preferred
• Must live outside 100-mile radius from facility
• Holiday work expected
• Return staff must be gone 1+ years

Facility:

This medical center operates a 17-bed telemetry unit with a daily census of approximately 15 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The organization focuses on cardiac and telemetry care for adult patients, maintaining high standards for nursing competency and patient safety.
