Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work in 30-bed acute medical surgical unit with emphasis on rehabilitation services
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for all shifts
• Average daily census of 24-30 patients
• Minimum 8 weekend shifts required per 6 weeks
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units and facilities as needed
• Holiday coverage required if holiday falls on scheduled days
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• 12-hour orientation required
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of experience required
• Must have 2 years of recent specialty experience with full year of in-specialty experience within past 12 months
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, blood glucose monitoring, insulin protocols, central line care, IV management, wound care, and rehabilitation services
• Must be comfortable with acute rehab patients including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson's disease
• Lift equipment available for patient transfers
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
