Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for physicians and healthcare providers
• Work independently exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
• Deliver accurate results in a timely manner for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through competent assessment and effective communication
• Weekend coverage required
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CRT M (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
• Epic experience preferred
• Skills include: Hologic 3D, 3-D Mammography, Digital Mammography, Screening Mammograms, Digital Quality Assurance Procedures, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Radiation Safety, Outpatient procedures
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Valid California state license required at time of submission
• Nursys verification within last 2 weeks required
• 7-year work history verification required
• 2 references obtained within the last year required
• Modules completed during orientation (1-5 hours average, recorded through e-learning)
• Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures for privacy and safety
