Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, weekdays schedule
• Up to 2 weekends per month required
• 13-week contract with ASAP start
• This is a dedicated float position requiring flexibility to float between ICU/Intermediate/Stepdown/Med Surg units based on patient volume
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays during contract
• Facility will consider 4x12 shifts with overtime after 48 hours if requested at time of submittal
• Patient ratios typically 1:5-6 depending on patient acuity and unit assignment
• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• 1-2 years nursing experience required, 2 years travel experience required
• Must hold active NC or Multistate license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA required)
• EPIC EMR proficiency required with recent experience
• All white or all navy scrubs required
• Skills include peripheral line care/management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, rapid response team activation, and non-invasive airway management
• May be required to float to CNA level discipline within scope of practice based on staffing needs
• Local restriction: candidates residing less than 40 miles from facility will not be accepted
• Driver's license required for address verification prior to offer acceptance
