Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work in Med Surg + Neuro/Stroke unit with patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Must be flexible with weekend requirements - required to work 50% of weekends in contract
• Must be willing to take charge or open to training for charge role
• Previous charge experience required with 2 years of nursing experience
• Floating is 100% required - may float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU)
• Must be agreeable to precepting and/or having students shadow during assignment
• Required certifications: BCLS
• Required skills: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, IV Start
• Preferred skills: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Must have Indiana/Compact license in hand or submitted fingerprint application
• Call-in policy requires makeup shifts or extension of contract
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Refusal to float may result in contract termination
• First time travelers accepted
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with medical surgical and neurological/stroke conditions
