Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 on a 36-room telemetry unit with average daily census of 35
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Work major holidays if they fall during assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers accepted)
• Must be proficient with Epic charting system, Pyxis, and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation based on assignment length
• Manage patients with CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Must be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant
• Clinical screening required for candidate review
