Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with 12 beds total
• Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Navy blue or white scrub colors required
• Holiday policy: Work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for stable med-surg patients with diagnoses including lap chole, SOB, sepsis, ex lap, GI bleed, CHF, COPD, SSC, hypertensive urgency, syncope, electrolyte imbalance, chest pain, abdominal pain, ETOH withdrawal
• Use Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Required certifications: BLS (ACLS preferred)
• Skills required: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
• Full compliance required to start on time
