Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Provide telemetry nursing care for adult and geriatric patients
• Maintain nurse to patient ratios of 1:4-6
• Manage 32 beds across 26 rooms with frequent high acuity patients
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of recent telemetry experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Self-scheduling with weekend coverage as needed (usually every third in rotation)
• May float to different units and will be pulled first for floating
• Work with patients diagnosed with cardiac conditions, respiratory issues, withdrawal, and sepsis
• Perform O2 protocol management and non-invasive airway management
• Manage peripheral lines, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols
• Participate in rapid response team activation
• Handle critical drips, bedside procedures, and peritoneal dialysis
• Work with BiPAP, Airvo equipment, and isolation patients
• Complete computerized documentation and annual modules
• Must be more than 75 miles from facility to be eligible as traveler
• Two references required for submission
