Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Monday shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call and holiday coverage required - minimum 16 hours on-call per month and work every other holiday if needed
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 150 patients
• Operate various imaging equipment including 3D, GE C-Arm, Medtronic O-Arm, OEC & Elite GE C-Arm in OR & Endoscopy, AMS 4 GE Mobile units
• Work in multiple settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, Operating Room, ER, NICU, PICU, Adult ICU
• Perform X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, surgery/C-Arm
• Utilize PACS system, portable equipment, C-Arm, and contrast media
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology
• Virginia State Radiologic Technologist License required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Wear Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Use Epic charting system
• Complete up to 8 hours of modules within 1 week of signing contract

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center with 431 staffed beds. The hospital features a busy 50-bed emergency department, multiple ICUs, NICU, and provides high-volume portable imaging services. The facility operates OR services 7 days per week with fluoroscopy capabilities and lumbar puncture procedures. The organization maintains modern imaging technology and comprehensive diagnostic services to support trauma care and general medical needs.
