Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 hour shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10 hour shifts
• Minimum 2 years EP lab experience required; Cath, IR and EP experience preferred
• Float to all 3 hospitals (Martin North, South, Tradition) within 20 miles
• On-call responsibilities required
• Required certifications: AHA or Red Cross ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: RCVT and RCIS
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum for each
• Complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours pre-start and annually
• Perform electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion
• Insert and program AICDs and pacemakers
• Conduct tilt table studies and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Maintain sterile field and follow isolation precautions
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• Use EPIC charting system
• Wear white scrubs
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
