Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 32-bed telemetry unit
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Holiday work required based on assignment period coverage
• Epic charting system preferred, also uses Pyxis and SBAR
• Must have experience with cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-PCI care
• Manage overflow IMCU patients with arrhythmias, cardiac conditions, surgical patients, and occasional vascular cases
• Skills required include cardiac drip titration, TR bands, feeding tube management, IV access, telemetry interpretation, and central line care
• Experience needed with amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin protocols
• Occasional call with 2-hour response time requirement
• Full compliance required to start on time with 36 hours of orientation
