Description
Opportunity:
RN - CCU
Job Details:
• Options for 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 ICU; 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele
• Primary floating to ICU Float but may float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU units within the hospital
• Epic charting system required, also uses Pyxis and SBAR
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with Spring Break blackout dates (April 4th-12th)
• Every other weekend required (average 6 weekends in 13-week contract)
• Floating required, no call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period: work 1 holiday if 1 falls during assignment, work both if 2 fall during assignment, work 2 of 3 if 3 fall during assignment
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day
• Full compliance required to start on time
• 24 hours of orientation with non-billable modules completed during orientation
• Must handle all potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses
• Extensive skills required including ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, and various critical care procedures

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
