Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Sign up for 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (up to every other weekend)
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry and PCU experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Subject to float between all facility campuses if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Focus on cardiac patients including acute coronary syndrome, pre/post cardiac catheterization, MI rule-outs, arrhythmias, and syncope
• Manage chest pain, STEMI, NSTEMI, A-fib, Tikosyn loads, and pre/post EP lab procedures
• Work with TR bands, central lines, PICC lines, and CVP monitoring
• Provide care for new onset and chronic heart failure patients
• Use rapid response teams and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
