Description

Opportunity:

Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Floating to like units possible
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted if they have previous experience
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• National certifications required: ARDMS or CCI (ARRT in addition is acceptable but not required)
• South Carolina SCQRSA licensure required
• Must use Epic charting system
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work in 2-room, 2-bed unit treating adolescent patients
• Perform diagnostic catheterizations (adult), permanent pacemaker insertions, pulmonary artery insertions, right heart catheterizations, temporary pacemakers, conduction studies, and insertion/programming of AICDs
• Skills include cardiac ablation, cardioversion, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, EKG lead placement, sterile technique, and equipment maintenance

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
