Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 11-week assignment duration
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Every other weekend required if needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers not accepted
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 1:4 required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 40 hours of orientation
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, pulmonary, neuro, GI, endocrine, and surgical conditions
• All patients are telemetry monitored requiring experience with arrhythmias
• Must be comfortable with various procedures including tracheostomy care, chest tubes, central line management, and wound care
• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams
