Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Must have charge nurse experience to be considered for this position
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratio required - patients typically require PCU level of care
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must be greater than 30 miles from facility (no local candidates)
• Every other weekend requirement
• Floating required within scope of practice
• No block scheduling allowed
• Must be available to work mandatory 5 shifts for clinical orientation week (36-40 hours first week)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH
• Adult and geriatric patient experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Orthopedic and total joint replacement nursing care experience strongly preferred
• Must complete approximately 4 hours of modules prior to start date
• Scrub color: Any
• Charting system: Meditech
• Holiday requirements: Must work 1 eve and holidays based on assignment length
• Strict attendance policy: 3 call outs results in termination
• Schedule changes may occur with 48 hours notice
• Florida or compact RN license required

This acute care hospital features 210 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services including a mixed unit combining Med Surg, Med Surg Tele, and PCU services. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams. The hospital maintains an interventional cardiac cath lab on-site and provides free parking for staff in unrestricted spaces.
