Opportunity:
RN - Orthopedics
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required
• No call responsibilities
• Float required as needed to other units
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric orthopedic patients as well as medical surgical patients
• Telemetry monitoring experience needed
• Must be comfortable with total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and various surgical procedures
• Work with special equipment including CPMs, Buck's Traction, neck and back braces
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Float to any campus if needed
• 50-mile local radius restriction applies

This healthcare facility operates a 32-bed orthopedic unit that provides comprehensive care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit features an on-site physical therapy gym allowing patients to receive rehabilitation services without leaving the floor. The facility offers telemetry monitoring capabilities and accommodates both orthopedic and medical surgical patients, including high-acuity cases from the emergency department. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
