Description
Opportunity:
RN - ICU Neuro
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Three shifts per week (3x12 hours)
• Every other weekend required plus holidays as needed
• One hardship shift depending on assignment timeframe
• Flexibility to rotate day/night shifts preferred
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Expected to work 2 of 3 upcoming holidays with no RTO between Christmas and New Years
• May be required to float to other ICUs or Med-Surg units (3 patient assignment)
• 8 hours of orientation provided
• Must have minimum 2 years Neuroscience ICU experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• EPIC experience required
• Must have strong experience in EVD, ICP monitoring, angiogram post care, CRRT, carotid procedures, and embolizations
• Care for critically ill stroke patients (ischemic and hemorrhagic) and non-traumatic neurosurgery patients 18 years and older
• Provide post-operative neurosurgery and neuro-endovascular care including ICP monitoring, mechanical thrombectomy, AVM repair, aneurysm repair, carotid stenting, craniotomy, CRRT, ventilator management, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Manager interview required
• Clinical pre-screening required to determine clinical fit
• Modules completed pre-start (5-6 hours, billable)

The unit serves as both a specialized neuroscience ICU and overflow unit for medical patients, maintaining DNV Comprehensive Stroke accreditation requirements and providing interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
