RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10 schedule
• Minimum 2 years PCU experience and ICU experience required
• Float to all 3 hospitals within 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic experience required with proficiency level 3 or 4
• Familiarity with cardiac drips required
• White scrubs required
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours (non-billable)
• EKG and pharmacology tests required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management, and isolation precautions
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start date
• 2 references from direct supervisor/manager required
