Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:45 PM
• 3x12 schedule (3 shifts per week)
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Weekend and holiday coverage required per unit needs
• Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must have compact license or MD license (some units accept pending MD license)
• Charting system experience required (Cerner)
• Skills required: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias
• Care for adult patients with various conditions including cardiac telemetry, post MI, bariatric surgery patients
• Manage feeding tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, pre/post hemodialysis management
• Experience with central line care, blood product administration, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP
• Wound care and wound VAC experience required
• Work with specialized equipment including ceiling lifts, Sabina lifts, 12 lead EKGs, Telestroke
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of contract signing
