RN - Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays required
• Care for adult patients with 4:1 patient ratio during day shifts
• Unit capacity of 19 rooms with daily census of 25-32 patients
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Telemetry experience and cardiac monitoring skills required
• Must understand care of arterial and venous access patients including radial and ulnar access
• Knowledge of hemostasis monitoring and management for arterial/venous access patients
• Experience with pre and post-procedure care for Cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology patients
• Must be proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG monitoring
• Required to pass facility EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Must work with special equipment including TR bands, Femostop, and telemetry monitoring
• Self-scheduling system
• Subject to floating to any campus if needed
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
