Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Work in Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with mixed medical patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
• Patient ratio of 1:4 with 36 beds and average daily census of 30
• Manage cardiac drips with titration requirements
• Handle respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients at PCU level
• Every other weekend coverage required unless specified elsewhere
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• No block scheduling
• Work major holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO with blackout dates during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Minimum 1 year experience required; first-timers accepted
• Use Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems
• Patient population ranges from adolescents to geriatrics
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week push back for non-compliance
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at time of submission

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
