Description
Opportunity:
Registered Nurse - PCU
Job Details:
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required - first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics
• Work on Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients
• Patient ratio: 1:4 with 36 beds and average daily census of 30
• Titrating cardiac drips required with continuous telemetry monitoring
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirements
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday requirements: Work major holidays that fall during assignment period
• Must have GA or compact license in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (manager level or above)
• Full compliance required to start on time

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
