Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Full-time position with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend coverage required
• Float to all other radiation oncology locations as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have New York State Radiologic Technologists Therapy License
• Experience on Ethos or Varian machines preferred
• Epic charting system experience is a hard requirement
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT T, NY License
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, and dependability required
• Skills include external beam therapy, IMRT, tumor localization, custom molds and shields, and radiation safety
• Must complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)
• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted
• Background reviewed on case-by-case basis
