Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 11-week assignment duration
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Every other weekend coverage required if needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First time travelers not accepted
• SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certification: NIHSS
• Epic experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 1:4 required
• Travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, GI, endocrine, and surgical conditions
• All patients are telemetry monitored requiring experience with arrhythmias and various cardiac drips
• Experience needed with ventilated patients, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, and wound care
• Must be prepared for potential emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June-November)

The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.
