Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation and holidays as needed
• Must have cardiac PCU experience and be comfortable with 1:5 patient ratios
• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first time travelers accepted)
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (NIH preferred)
• EPIC experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Ratios: 1:4 with drips/bipap, otherwise mostly 1:5
• Staff scheduled for 6-week periods via self-assisted schedule through Optilink
• Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred
• 24/7 nurse assistants and RN secretary 7a-11p available
• Care for cardiac patients including CHF, ACS, arrhythmias, pre/post cardiac catheterization
• Secondary focus on respiratory problems such as COPD, pneumonia, BiPAP
• Required skills include dysrhythmia interpretation/management, telemetry monitoring, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, chest tube care, tracheostomy management
• Subject to float to any campus if needed
• Zero tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Compliance deadline: 12 noon EST Wednesday prior to start date
