Description
Opportunity:
Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
• Work in 2 catheterization lab rooms
• 1 year of experience required, first-timers accepted
• Perform pediatric and adult cardiac catheterization procedures
• Handle transplant procedures including right/left heart biopsies
• Assist with balloon procedures, stent placements, and valve replacements
• May also perform interventional radiology procedures (preferably pediatric)
• Prefer experience in Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab and EP procedures
• Work with congenital heart patients and various cardiac interventions
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), CCI with RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
• Must provide radiation badge through agency
• Use EPIC charting system
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks as guaranteed hours allowance
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Must be available for emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
