Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work as Cath Lab Tech with guaranteed hours of 36 hours for 3x12's or 40 hours for 8/10's
• On-call requirement for evenings and weekends
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Minimum 18 months Cath Lab Tech experience required, 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT), RCIS
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6-15 hours (non-billable)
• Wear ceil blue scrubs
• Use EPIC charting system
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Handle cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and percutaneous coronary interventions
• Maintain sterile technique and equipment setup
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• First-time travelers accepted
• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start date
